Welcome Back #Warriors!  Hope you had a restful break!!

The final push to the end of the first semester will begin Monday!  #FinishStrong
Warrior Exams will be on December 15, 16 & 17.   Make up Exams and early out-December 18.

Freshman are collecting mittens and socks for the Mountain Mission.

This week's activities:

Monday, Nov 30:

• The Community Service students have organized a Hat Day - $1 to wear your hat.  Proceeds go to Firehouse Santa-a charity for underprivileged children to get toys for Christmas .  See Mrs. Workman in the commons in the morning or in A65 throughout the day.  

Tuesday, Dec 1: 

• Make up Pictures for the yearbook. 
• Boys Basketball Scrimmage 3pm
• Financial Aid Workshop at 6pm

Wednesday, Dec 2:

• Wrestling at Cabell Midland, with Ripley

Thursday, Dec 3:

• Girls Basketball at home vs Hannan.  JV 5:45, Varsity afterwards

Friday, Dec 4: 

• Girls Basketball at Cabell Midland. JV 5:45, Varsity afterwards
• Midnight Madness 10 pm... More info this week

Saturday, Dec 5:

• Swim Team Meet at UC 1:15
• JROTC Drill Team at Huntington

Thank you to Boy Scout Troop 136 for the amazing collection of food for the RHS food pantry! 

Distribution will occur Saturday, November 21. 

Donations can be dropped off at the main office during school hours if you still would like to donate!

Congratulations to the RHS cheerleaders for placing 1st runner-up in the MSAC competition Tuesday.  Now getting ready for STATES!!!!

Announcements: November 8, 2015

Congratulations to the RHS Cheerleaders! #StateBound

The cheer team placed second in the Regionals Saturday and qualified for States, which will be held December12th!  Great job ladies!!!

Congratulations to the boys JROTC for placing 3rd at the National Competition this past weekend!  

Congrats to Cecil Dean for placing 4th in the individual competition!  Also congratulations to all of the members of the Raider team who represented RHS!  

Our student-run Food Pantry is still collecting items for distribution on Nov 21. Please consider donating thanksgiving items!

Announcements: November 1, 2015

Congrats to the Cross Country Team for an awesome showing at the State meet this weekend!!!

Cecil Dean, Justin Bailey, Bradley Bellamy, Michael Elswick, Coach Boggess,
Matthew Martin, Nathan Wheeler and Nick Kennedy

RHS had our first ever XC team compete in the boys state race, placing 11th. This is an incredible feat and the future is bright for Coach Boggess and his young runners!

Monday, November 2:

• Sophomore trip to see MacBeth @ Clay Center
• JV Football game away @ South Charleston 6 pm
• Girls 9th grade basketball begins practice 

Tuesday, November 3:

• ASVAB test-See Miss Jarrell

Wednesday, November 4:

• Region 3 Section 1 Volleyball Tournament @ Riverside. Games begin at 5:30pm. RHS is to take on Capital in the 1st game at 5:30pm.

Thursday, November 5:

• Region 3 Section 1 Volleyball Tournament @ Riverside. Games begin at 6pm. 

Friday, November 6:

• Senior Class Meeting 7:20
• Football Game HOME vs. Spring Valley 7:30 pm. Senior Night! 

Saturday, November 7:

• JROTC Raider Nationals @ Molena, GA. 
• Cheer REGIONALS @ Civic Center 6 pm.
