Make sure you take care of all of unfinished business.  iPads, chargers and cord must be turned in!

  • Athletic Booster Meeting-5:30pm, conference room

Thursday, May 19:
  • Graduation practice at noon, Civic Center.  This is mandatory to participate in the graduation ceremony.
  • Graduation, 7pm, Civic Center.  
  • Project Graduation-Celebrate Safely!
Friday, May 20:
  • State Track Meet-Nick Kennedy AAA Boy's 3200 - 8:15 PM
Saturday, May 21:
  • State Track Meet-Nick Kennedy AAA Boy's 1600 -  11:20 AM

Well done #Warriors! The Battle of the Classes was a great event!  Congrats to the red team on winning the first portion of the battle!  No matter what grade level... #OneWarriorNation

Athletic Banquet was a success!  Thank you to all who organized and attended!  

Congrats to Mrs. Workman's Community Service class for raising over $1000 for Pennies for Paws!

Smarter Balanced testing continues this week!  Get a good night's sleep!

What a GREAT Prom!!  Thank you to all of the Prom Committee members, Miss Killian, teachers, students and parents who made the Greatest PROM on Earth such a memorable night!

Congratulations to Cathryn Holstein for placing 3rd in the State FBLA competition for Computer Applications (using Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint applications).  Good luck at the FBLA National Competition!

Congratulations to the JROTC Raider Team for bringing home the Championship Trophy for the 47th Brigade Competition.  Not only are they State Champs, these young men beat out 337 teams from 7 states!  #OWN 

Congratulations to ALL of the students who competed at the Marshall University SCORES competition (see earlier blog for individual awards)!  Thank you to Mr. Mullins for organizing this event for the first time in school's history and the teachers who prepared our students!

Marshall U SCORES Competition


For the first time in school history, Riverside High School competed in the Marshall University SCORES Competition.

For the "Overall School Prizes" schools were organized into three divisions based on school enrollment.  We were placed into Division 1 along with the other larger schools.  Of the 16 schools in Division 1; We Placed 3rd in total points!


Individually we placed:
