Dear Parents and Guardians:
As you may have heard, there has been information circulated regarding bedbugs at Riverside High School. I want to convey the truth of these sightings and alleviate the rumors that have been spread through social media. At each bedbug detection, the room has been vacuumed and cleaned thoroughly. Even if we did not have confirmation of any sightings of a bed bug, we have cleaned the room according to KCS, Department of Agriculture and Department of Health policies.
KCS has scheduled treatment of the rooms for this weekend. It is KCS policy to give you 24-hour notice of this treatment. Please see the handout below. Additionally, we have provided information regarding bedbugs so that we can be better educated regarding these pests.
