Graduation is still set for June 25, 2020 at 7:00 PM, Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.  
When we get more information, we will pass it along!

P-EBT: Update Mailing and Phone Information

Parent and Guardians: 
Because Kanawha County qualifies for the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) through the USDA, every current KCS family qualifies for this benefit and will receive a P-EBT card automatically. However, we need to make sure that the address you have on file at school is correct. If you believe your information may be incorrect, please fill out the form using the following link: 
An administrator will be reaching out in the coming days to confirm your address on file.

Senior Planning May 5, 2020


Seniors:
As we begin the month of May, we wind down to the last few activities of your senior year. First, make sure that your assignments are completed by May 15th.  Check your grades on Schoology.  You will not receive a grade lower than the 3rd 9 weeks (QT3) on Schoology.  The 4th 9 weeks assignments are there for you to continue learning and help your grade if you need it.  If you have not answered your counselor's messages, now is the time!  If you are in need of credit recovery, contact your counselor for Summer School. 
Secondly, we will have a drive-through time in the loop on May 21 and 22 for you to turn in your iPad, return textbooks, and pick up any graduation items you still need.  We will send more specific information soon. You must return your iPad on or before the aforementioned dates.  If there is a problem, please call the school Monday, Wednesday, or Friday from 10 am to 1 pm and talk to an administrator. 
Thirdly, we are also getting the slideshow together!  Send a baby picture and a senior picture to rhs20grad@gmail.com. A group of parents is also working for posters with a senior picture on it.  Contact senior parent Shannon Martin for more information.  We want to include ALL seniors in both of these projects!!!

Lastly, we continue to work toward a graduation ceremony on June 25th.  We will be under the guidance of the health officials but our hope is to be together one more time! 


Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!! Thank you to the teachers of Riverside for providing engaging, standards-based activities, looking out for our students' well being, and helping to mold teenagers into productive young adults!

  • 5-day boxed feeding program will continue on the same schedule as last week with the buses leaving at 10:30 a.m.
