Class of 2020 Get Ready to Graduate!!!

 Warrior Class of 2020
And the award for “Longest Running Senior Skip Day” goes to… the Class of 2020!!!

We are now at the end of the strangest school year I have ever had!  I am sad that we are not doing our “usual", but I know that you will use this experience as a lesson to be strong and adaptable as you move into your young adult lives!

On May 21st and 22nd, you will turn in your iPad and receive your diploma, awards, etc.  You will NOT receive your diploma if you do NOT have the appropriate credits completed on these dates.  You must contact your counselor if you have any doubts or if you have a problem.  If you have not answered your counselors’ or teachers’ messages, now is the time!  RHS MUST and WILL follow the mandates of WVDE and KCS regarding graduation.

You will drive through the loop at the front of the building during your designated time to return the iPad and receive your awards. You will stay in your car. Your iPad will be turned in first.  Have your iPad charged and follow the following directions. This may take quite a bit of time if you do not follow these instructions.

KCS Senior Instructions for iPad Return – 2020

In an effort to keep the process very efficient and quick we need your help with a few steps.

  1. Bring your old iPad charged so that we can easily scan it to record the turn in.

  2. Bring your charging brick and cable for turn-in.

  3. On the iPad please follow these steps prior to turn in.

    1. Go to SETTINGS, iCLOUD (your name at the top), FIND MY, TURN OFF FIND MY IPAD. If you do not see FIND MY, move on to step b.

    3. Please launch the QR Code App found on your iPad and take a screenshot of the QR Code. Please use the screenshot as your new lock screen.

    4.  How to take a screenshot using your iPad.

      1. Press and hold the home button while also holding down the lock screen button.

      2. How to set your lock screen using a picture from photos.

        1. Open your Photos App

        2. Select a picture

        3. Click the Share box

        4. Select Use as Wallpaper

        5. Select Set

You can turn in any textbooks you still need to return.  You will then receive a folder with your diplomas, cords, and certificates that we have at this time!  We will also release our video awards "assembly".
